On April 5, 2023, SDSU experts visited Gori Kindergarten #1 to observe the educational process and assess the infrastructure. They also toured the newly rehabilitated School Readiness Program (SRP) room at Gori Public School #8, a part of the I2Q Project.
Supported by the World Bank under the I2Q Project, SRP groups are being established in schools nationwide to promote school readiness and ease the transition for young children. These SRP groups will be piloted in 150 preselected schools. The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is enhancing school infrastructure, while the I2Q Project focuses on delivering resources and technical equipment necessary for the educational process.
