Second round of coaching sessions in Akhalkalaki Municipality

October 22, 2025

The SDSU Early Childhood Education (ECE) team has launched the second round of coaching sessions in Akhalkalaki Municipality, running from October 15 to 28, 2025.

Building on the success of the initial training phase, this program involves 60 caregiver-pedagogues and 30 kindergarten directors from selected early education centers. The sessions focus on strengthening the practical use of evidence-based, child-centered teaching methods introduced in 2024.

Over ten days, participants receive coaching visits that provide targeted feedback, hands-on activities, and strategies for enhancing classroom practice. Each cycle begins with a goal-setting workshop, continues with on-site observations, and concludes with a group reflection to share experiences and plan next steps. This coaching model helps educators deepen their skills, boost confidence, and sustain quality teaching practices beyond the training period.
