As part of the I2Q Project, SDSU conducted specialized curriculum training for authorization experts working in the early childhood education sector. This training focused on strengthening the expertise of professionals responsible for assessing and authorizing educational institutions.

The curriculum training provided in-depth knowledge on best practices for evaluating and accrediting early childhood education programs. Participants were guided through the processes of curriculum development, aligning educational standards with national and international benchmarks, and ensuring that early education curricula are inclusive, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate for young children.

In addition to theoretical discussions, the training involved practical exercises, enabling experts to apply their newly acquired knowledge in real-world scenarios. The aim was to ensure that authorization experts can effectively assess the quality of curricula in educational institutions, ensuring they meet the necessary standards for accreditation and provide the best possible learning environment for young children.

By delivering this curriculum-focused training, SDSU supports the professional development of the experts who play a critical role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of early childhood education in Georgia. This initiative is key to building a robust system of curriculum authorization and supporting continuous improvement across the country’s early education sector.
