During February 12-14, 2024, SDSU Early Childhood Education (ECE) team has successfully completed a crucial training initiative aimed at enhancing quality assurance across four key areas: Nutrition,Sanitation and Hygiene, Infrastructure, and Curriculum in Georgia. The ECEproject identified two lead trainers for each of these fields, who recentlyunderwent an intensive training process facilitated by SDSU ECE experts. Thisrigorous training, which wrapped up in February, was designed to finalize and perfect the training content.
Newly trained experts will serve as ECE institution authorization specialists and future trainers, playing a vital role in advancing early childhood education in Georgia. The goal is for these newlytrained experts to disseminate their knowledge and skills to an additional cohort of around 300 Early Quality Education (EQE) trainers nationwide, thereby contributing to significant improvements in early childhood education across the country.
The Quality Assurance Training engaged around 140 participants, focusing on key areas such as Curriculum, Nutrition, Quality Assurance, Sanitary Hygiene, and Conflict Resolution. The training aimed to enhance foundational aspects critical to early childhood education.
