As part of the I2Q Project, SDSU recently conducted specialized training for conflict resolution aimed at experts involved in the early childhood education authorization process. The training was designed to enhance the capacity of professionals responsible for evaluating and accrediting educational institutions, with a focus on managing and resolving conflicts within educational settings.
The training covered key principles of conflict resolution, including communication techniques, negotiation strategies, and methods for fostering a collaborative and positive atmosphere in early childhood education environments. Participants learned how to address conflicts that may arise between staff, parents, and other stakeholders, ensuring that solutions are both effective and conducive to a productive learning environment. The goal was to empower professionals with the skills necessary to manage disputes and challenges, promoting a harmonious and supportive atmosphere in early education institutions.
This conflict resolution training is an important part of the project’s efforts to improve the quality of early childhood education in Georgia. By strengthening the ability of authorization experts to manage conflicts, SDSU is helping to ensure that educational institutions operate smoothly and foster positive relationships between all involved parties.
