February 12-14

As part of the I2Q Project, SDSU recently conducted specialized training for sanitary and hygiene experts involved in the early childhood education authorization process. The training aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of professionals responsible for assessing and accrediting educational institutions, with a focus on maintaining high standards of health and hygiene.

The training covered essential topics related to sanitation practices, including the proper maintenance of clean and safe environments, hygiene protocols for both children and staff, and strategies to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Participants were educated on best practices for ensuring that early childhood education facilities meet health standards that protect the well-being of children.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, the training included practical exercises that allowed experts to evaluate existing sanitation and hygiene measures within institutions, identify potential risks, and recommend improvements. The goal was to equip experts with the necessary tools to ensure that early childhood education centers provide hygienic, safe, and healthy environments for young learners.

This training is an essential component of the I2Q Project’s broader mission to improve the quality of early childhood education in Georgia. By strengthening the expertise of sanitary and hygiene experts, SDSU is helping to ensure that children receive not only educational opportunities but also a safe and healthy learning environment.
